I absolutely abhor this habit of yours of casting slurs upon those who are nouveau, those who wheeze, retch and are stifled, and those who love their feni. Damn it! I love my feni and I wheeze and retch and I hate my Goa too, so why the booboos should I cast slurs upon those who love their feni and their Goa too. If you have the tuntuns please identify yourself and don't defame honest lovers of feni and Goa.

From where did you get that bit about Bengalis spelling Pandu as Pendu?
Bengali(besides some other languages of eastern India) does not 'a' or 's'. That is why a becomes 'aa' or 'o' and 's' becomes 'sh'. But there is no way it becomes 'e'. Just goes to prove how inward-looking and ignorant some chaps can be of the eastern and perhaps, northeastern regions of the country.

Do check this other story dated 24 September also written by the former HERALD "Chief REPORTER" now turned GT 'correspondent' Julio D'Silva on GT's page 3.
Ironically the journo-turned-politico who contested against the Urban Development Minister Joaquim Alemao and lost twice, has quoted the minister saying "you should elect people who will work."
Now thats a telling sign for a defeated candidate.
But isn't it odd that Julio has written in the younger Alemao's favour after he has soundly attacked the elder bro, CHURCHILL (allegedly at the behest of bete-noir Luizinho).
Now this is something PENPRICKS, if the author of this blog is in its right element should investigate and expose. Instead of petty personal attacks on non-entities.
Keeping to its motto "Discover the rotund flanks and the shaggy underbelly of the Goan media. And of course, the rare honest rib" that the PRICKS have long forgotten after their arch nemesis ROBIN Abreu (ex-HERALD editor) quit the paper.

yeah missing Ruchika babe already...she was much better than those old crummy videos they keep on airing at HCN. Even if the fortune was all out of tune, atleast she made an attempt to sound credible and even dolled up for the dodos like me. Also a li'l birdie told me that Manjunath & Co. have been spreading rumors in the office that they spent millions of rupees to obtain pan Goa connectivity. I'm flummoxed, Pray Why? All they needed to do was to buy some pigeons and tie the news of the day to their feet and dispatch them to all corners of Goa. After all that's about as much REAL programming that HCN is churning out apart from showing some hazy pilfered documentaries.

Even the Nation headlines on teh HCN news have ghastly images without the recommenadatory courtesy line. Time for the local channel to be sued crores of rupees as RAUL can aford to shell out the cash for this white elephant that continues to milk the Herald DRYYYYY!!!

do you know the latest penpricks.herald on its anivesary published snaps of its employees conviently forgeting a few.crooks like m and m 's photographs were published.are they a matter of pride for the herald.? this was the reason why most of the staff boycotted the celebrations.this shows how petty minded the management is.
Interesting to note Herald's former employee, photo journalist Menino Afonso chose the very same day to allegedly committ suicide.
Probably the Herald failed to take care of him in his worse days.
Perhaps Melyvn Misquita (Chief Of News Bureau) would care to comment???

Herald is a fun place to be as all employees are like one big happy family.
GM Manjunath EXCLUDED! How else do you explain the anniversary aprty at the same place every year - Bogmalo Beach resort, lousy food but free, of course. Thanks to the numerous unpaid bills of Herald.
