COMING UP... AN EXPOSE ON A CNN-IBN INVESTIGATION... AND WHY CNN-IBN REALLY NEEDS TO CORRECT ITS FACTS AND ITS SENSE OF GEOGRAPHY!!!

Hi guys, around Monday next week or a day later, Penpricks is going to bust a major investigative story which was telecast on CNN-IBN recently. The reason why we are pissed off with this story is the way it was packaged. The factually incorrect story has been given the kind of cosmetic re-jigging, that would be enough to give both Bhupendra Chaubey and Sagarika Ghosh (both CNN-IBN anchors) an inferiority complex. The channel actually owes folk an apology for broadcasting a story with misleading facts.
SEE YOU GUYS WITH THE STORY NEXT WEEK, UNTIL THEN OTHER POSTS WILL KEEP COMING...

I am surprised you guys have not put up a condolence message for Sushant Naik (http://penpricks.blogspot.com/2007/08/going-photoshopping.html)...

or did I miss it?

Well, even if it isn't in your mission statement, would you for social obligations, put up a message to warn fellow journos to wear a fastened helmet?

Hey why leave out NDTV?

Srinivsan Jain did a 2 part series of the GBA public protests. The 1st part was excellent, while the 2nd one neutralisd the 1st. These guys deliberately did not carry Remo's hit single, sung exclusively for the GBA.

It happens year after year, these NDTV chaps & others descend to Goa during Christmas & new year and have a gala time. Why don't these chappies visit the less privileged citizens of india? What about their new year?
If they really want to usher in the new year first, why don't they go to the eastern part of India?
Keep your eyes open for the prices of tickets to enter the popular night spots (dance parties), this year end! Your ears will definitely be ringing... no, no not to reindeer bells, but rather to Vijay Mallya's & others' cash registers!

NDTV reporters went to IC Church in Panaji and seemed surprised that Christmas mass was conducted in Konkanni?
Is that supposed to be news?

Come to think of it, for what percentage of the people in India, is this Gregorian calendar really relevant?
