NICE PIC, AIN'T IT?

The Goan print media has perhaps just two good news photographers... Nandesh Kambli from the Navhind Times and Rajtilak Naik who has now shifted to TOI. Here's a fantastic shot by Nandesh published in the TNT recently. Its a couple of eagles (not eagles... kites... thanks for the correction bud) swooping on their prey.

wow. looks like media owners in Goa have taken to providing their photographers with good equipment. Till recently, the Goan news photographer was epitomized by Ambaji Kamat whose main job was to wheedle gifts frm organizers of press conferences.

He also made it to the national media when he went really close to Atal Bihari Vajpayee at an election meeting to capture a closer visual.

What to do, Ambaji didn't have the money to buy a zoom lens and the kanjoos patrao wouldn't buy him one....

The guys who bestow their Xannponna on the entire Goan journalistic firmament can't tell the difference between Brahminy Kites (which is what they are) and eagles.

What happens when your errors of commission swoop down on you? If your errors of omission were to do likewise, you'd be buried alive under them.

Xannponna? Brahminy Kites? This prick sounds familiar. A pro-Konkani Brahmin from the 'BHAI STABLE' ??????
