'काला और गोरा' AND WHATEVER ELSE LIES BETWEEN

Hi guys... Rico sent us this mailer yesterday... It's a bunch of articles he'd earlier put together as an e-book. He's managed to bring it out in print now... Got a lot of dope on the Goan media as seen through the eyes of these journos... Hope you stumble on it sometime and you have some spare cash in your pockets then. Here's Rico's note

Dear PP,

Rico's books are usually boring... Rico do u provide a book return policy if the customer feels that the book is a rip off?

Does any author/publisher make such an offer?

I thought that some authors make only excerpts of their books available on the web. Companies offering music for legal downloads also offer a 2 minute sample of all songs, but never an entire song!!!

May I introduce you to Creative Commons [http://creativecommons.org/] and [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Creative_Commons] and also Copyleft [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Copyleft]?
There's a reason for this (read on, and you'll catch it). It's not as mindless as it seems! Makes sense, at least to me. --FN

Dear Anon @ 15 May 2008 07:18

Thanks for the feedback.

* That sounds reasonable enough, but how do I ensure that a hundred other anons don't try and take advantage of my offer to you. (You never know how bad it gets in publishing these days :-))

* Maybe we could give a full refund (and more) back to the first person who can prove that he can make another post from the same IP address you're using!

PS: Will you buy my next boring book too? Alternatively, if you promise to trash it real well, and hard enough to generate enough controversy, maybe I could even think of offering a review copy!
