CHURCHILL ALEMAO PLANTS A NEW SAPLING

Damn... damn... damn... some of you guys are right, we should have judged the time needed right. The story we promised will take a few days more guys. We've learned out lesson. Next time round, we'll be more punctual.
But there's something to tell you guys. Ever since we put the teaser out, there's been two attempts to hack the blog's password. We have strong suspicion that it must have been one of those journos from Sujay's harem. But that's alright... but we have a feeling very few of you actually know who we're talking about? Let's see if anyone can get the right answer...
In the meantime, we leave you with this filler. Valanka Alemao, the only flower to blossom in the thorny, coarse Alemao scrub. This photo featured in the Herald sometime back. Look at the women around her. Tanned by the sun. Faces which have weathered different seasons. And Valanka with a coconut sapling in her hands. Face bleached beyond belief, in sharp contrast to her earth coloured hands, which hold the stalk, that sprouts from the nut.

You are absolutely wrong Anonymous 29 September 2008 21:29
Please do not ruin the image and charisma of the Late Chaplin by comparing him to the Goan "Churchill" Alemao. Instead a better comparison would be Bihar's former CM (now union Railway Minister) Laloo Prasad Yadav. Both have the ability to draw guffaws from the crowd for their antics.
Besides, both being a great source of joy to the media who just adore covering their motely words of 'wisdom' that rarely have any logic or sense.
Right, pricks?? Good to know taht you are back with a BANGG. Woe to Sujoy and tribe!

I am still confused how can the people cast their votes to these Naals! A little bird informed me that you have to pass tru a security check before you can meet the person in question. She handles all the underhand dealing of PWD tenders furthermore Now she is invloved with NREGA the official scheme to pay the supporters. WTF

Check the anti-Churchill campaign being done on GT by 'SPECIAL Correspondent" Julio D'Silva. It appears as if the paper has been paid by Luizinho to publish the reports in return for 1000s copies purchased by him to distribute in the constituency.
A similiar campaign was done prior to elections during tenure of ex-editor Sujay Gupta. So also by Goan Observer. Please expose.

Dy News editor Ashley Rosario has a major role to play in this eepisode!!!
He has very carrefully chosen his old pal, Julio specially for the job as the ex-BJP candidate has scores to settle with the Alemaos.
Else, why has Julio not exposed Mickky's harrassment of his constituents who did not vote for him. What about Filpe Neri or Alex Siquira or any other Salcete minister, incl. CM Kamat?
Why has Julio not written about how Kamat has chetaed his former suppporters to help the gold smith commmunnity and pampers the croked Muslims on mote dongor!

Surprising this post appeared as I always thought GT News Editor Ashley do Rosario was the main architect of the genderless "PENPRICKS" blog site. Guess I was WRONG!
But the "Tuesday Tunes" is still a pale imitation of the Penpricks with GT's BJP fanatic Nilesh Khandeparkar contributing some malicious anti-journo remarks.
Reminds me of the earlier weekly Monday column "PSSSt According to sources" that was ghost-written by the dynamic duo of Preetu and Peter during former editor Sujoy Gupta's tenure.
It was very popular among all the cops with mind-boggling sales being reported that day.
This column that has been now discontinued by present editor Derek is being now revived in a different avatar.

Hope the next post is not on Julio, who once was to be the news editor of Herald.
Read about the new Press Accredition Committee. Interesting to know the members. Not a single one from TOI or NT for that matter!

According to Sources column was mainly written by Peter and Alister, the duo from Siolim, who only used GT to help Peter's cousin brother Roy, a murder accused to continue his nefarious activities in Anjuna. Preetu's contribution was very negligible.
Derrick Almeida who realised this first told them to change this sort of character assassination and only after they refused to listen, the column was stopped for good.

Tuesday Tunes continues where the earlier col left off defaming and making derogatory remarks about fellow journos with GT editor Derek failing to control his buddies let loose!
Surprising no one has filed a libel suit against the paper or maybe nobody reads the column. How sad!

Goa minister's son charged with rape of German girl
Press Trust of India: Oct. 14,2008 Panaji, October 14: Goa police on Tuesday booked Education Minister Atanasio Monseratte's elder son Rohit following a complaint by a German woman accusing him of sexually and mentally harassing her minor daughter. A stray cat says Valanka was hobnobbing with BJP's Rajiv Pratap Rudy as a backup plan in case she fails to get the Congress Lok Sabha ticket twice-in-a-row.
Worth checking what was whistling befoe it blows into a Tuesday Tantrum.
