AND YOU STILL CALL THE HINDU A SERIOUS NEWSPAPER!
The Hindu certainly is a strange newspaper.
It wastes almost quarter page on a story about Jyoti Basu going for a root-canal. Then it tries to breathe controversy over Narendra Modi’s photograph on condom packets. And they seem dead serious about it!
A politician’s face on a pack of condoms? Who’d want that? (pg 14 June 15, 2007)
